our mini vaca...

Living so close to Seattle we decided to take a day and make a little vacation out of it!

Hours of fun posing with all the statues as you can see!

Kids having a little heart to heart :)

Beautiful city...beautiful girl!

I have zero pics of me with kids. I physically have to hand the camara to Brandon and before I even get into place or Makenna is some what pulled together...snap! LOL. Well there it is an official none 'self-shot'!

We went on this ferry at sunset!

For those of you who are thinking 'boy this looks familiar' it would be because it's a classic Napoleon Dynamite reenactment!

pose 3
pose 4
pose 5
and finally pose 6...oh the fun a pillar of cement offers lol

You will notice that one child is MIA from the 'posing' activities. Guess we've finally arrived at the 'too cool' mentality!

We went to The Crab Pot because we saw it on Man Vs Food lol. They bring you a bucket of sea critters and a hammer and then you just go to town. Frankly I was grossed out! But the boys thought it was fantastic to hammer your food. Makenna and I stuck with our hamburgers!

The hammer, sea critters, and my cute family

Ok, so this is such a great picture. I first want to note the look on Makenna's face because it really says all we were both feeling lol. Second, you may be thinking what I was, "how is it possible to find something with beady eyes and hanging down tentacles appetizing?'.

And yet another thing that grossed me out. Ben having his first official oyster shooter! Have to say they don't get their boldness in trying new things from me!

My hammer crushin', sea eatin', bib wearin' hunk of a husband! Love you babe!

such a beautiful day to see the city from this view point!

Such a great day and a great little vacation!
