First day of school, a tad late!

So after homeschooling the last year and a half we decided after much prayer that we were going to give public school a go again....

His officially first day of school ever! He was SO excited!

Makenna was feeling a little left out and kept telling us it was her first day of school too!

So it has been almost a month now and they've done really well with the transition. It is hard for us all to be away from each other all day but thankfully summer is coming soon!!

My basketball star....

What an amazing season he had! He is so quick on his feet and was so great at rebounding! He has such enthusiasm in all that he does and has such a great attitude. He made us all so proud....

Honestly do you think he could be any more proud of that trophy?? It is is first officially trophy and after seeing all Ben's over the years this was a big day!

He is in complete awe of that trophy :)

Small difference in height wouldn't you say? He rose to the occasion though :)

Professionals at heart I tell you!

They are the cutest bowling team I have every seen!

However they did totally kick my butt so obviously they have a tad more skill at this sport than I do!

Our romantic night away....

We had such a great night away that I really have no words for it. We figured it had been atleast 6 years since having an overnight date, much too long! The view from our room was amazing and the jetted tub was beyond wonderful. My mom stayed with the kids so I didn't feel like I had to hurry home or worry which was great. We went out to a nice dinner and really just enjoyed each others company. This is something we need to start treating ourselves to more often! Thank you to all my family that sent money for my birthday to go towards this spectacular gift!!
